About Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi born on 19 June 1970 in New Delhi. He is an indian youth Politician and member of Parliament of India (Amethi,U.P.) & General Secreatary of all india Congress Committee. He is related to Nehru-Gandhi family.He is the elder brother of Priyanka Gandhi & his great-grand father Jawahar lal nehru was first prime minister of India.

Education

He got his B.A.from Rollins College,Florida in 1994.Because of interruptions in his study created by security concerns after his father's assassination.He got an M.Phil. in Development Studies in 1995 from Trinity College,Cambridge.

Rahul Gandhi in Madhya Pradesh on Oct 4

Tikamgarh (MP),Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will arrive here on a da-long visit on october 4.Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress General Secretary,Israel Khan told that Rahul will meet Youth Congress office-bearers and workers of Damoh,Chattarpur and Tikamgarh District and also address a seminar.He also said Gandhi will pay a visit to some SC area or SC-dominated village for interaction with them to understand their problems.

Rahul Gandhi to be accorded status of state guest in MP

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj singh chauhan said here that Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi would be accorded the status of a state guest during his three-day visit starting on October 4.
Talking informally to reporters, the chief minister said that in politics rivals should not be considered as enemies.
The status of state guest house would be accorded to top leaders of others political parties as well they come here.
"India has a tradition of giving honour to guest house and we are only following it,"Mr.Chauhan said.
Mr.Gandhi is coming to the state in connection with organisational elections for youth congress,party sources said here.
Madhya pradesh congress spokesman J.P.Dhanotia said that during the visit,the congress General Secretary would visit nine places including,shoepur,Shivpuri,Tikamgarh,Rewa,Ujjain and Bhopal.
